Matthew Perry, the most sarcastic "friend" of them all, is set to produce, write and star in The End of Steve. This dark comedy has been picked up by Showtime and, according to Variety, stars Perry "as an unhappy, egomaniacal TV talk show host, confined to working on an afternoon gabber in Rochester, N.Y., and seeking redemption both personally and professionally."
